Floodlighting columns Exterior Lighting Range Hot-dip galvanised steel column Root or flange plate mounting Supplied with lockable door Various height options Description The PACIFIC range of exterior floodlighting columns is suitable for a variety of applications where multi-point floodlights are required The column is made from hot-dip galvanised steel to BS 4360 Grade 50C. All columns in the range are supplied with a single lockable door and wooden backplate, which are secure and vandal resistant. The control gear compartment is suitable for including circuit cut-outs, which can be supplied at extra cost. All columns are supplied with root planting as standard, but are available with fully welded surface flange plate at extra cost. The maximum ?K? factor is 2.5 for all column types. Note: when using several floodlights with remote gear, this may need to be housed in a separate weatherproof enclosure. PACIFIC columns can be supplied with mid hinge facility to enable easy maintenance, these are manufactured to special order. Such areas could be: Large car and vehicle parks Sports arenas Access and main roads Building grounds Driveways Bus garages Marshalling yards Maintenance For best results do not use abrasives or highly alkaline cleaners on the columns. If a paint finish is applied over the galvanised surface regular inspection and maintenance is necessary to prevent the paint peeling off. Standards All luminaires in the PACIFIC range are designed and manufactured in accordance with our quality standards. Each and every column undergoes stringent testing in excess of that required under European standards to ensure that any possibility of luminaires arriving on site in anything other than full working order is kept to an absolute minimum.
